Anything not related to the objectives of this forum will be deleted and the poster will be banned.  THMTeach.org does not permit the use of vulgar or obscene language, abusive, hateful, or slanderous comments, and/or sexually explicit or suggestive material.  We ask that you refrain from posting any images of beings with souls (humans and animals), and if it is necessary that you do so, then please blot out all faces whenever possible.

In order to retain a sense of responsibility and accountability, all posters are required to abide by the SIGNATURE GUIDELINES, which entail that you post your full name followed by the state (or providence) and country in which you currently reside.

Alhamdulillah, Ya students it is time to add a just little spice to your schedules inshaAllah by increasing our reading and learning. The Early Bird Special! All classes conducted using WIZIQ

First: Tafsir of Ibn Kathir Reading Only Begins Monday and Wedn. at 7:00am EST

Second: Riyadhus Saliheen (READING and Memorization ONLY) begins Monday and Wedn. at 8:00am EST

Third: Stories of the Prophets every Tuesday & Thursday 7:00am EST starting Tuesday!

Lastly: The Righteous Women of Islam (this one's a beauty) We start with my favorite two lectures, Great Righteous Women and The Life of Khadijah both by Abu Uwais Rahimullah; Tuesday at 8:00 amEST

Taking Notes for a Lecture:

All students who wish to increase in their own personal study, learn to take notes for lectures, practice grasping the main idea of a topics and increasing in beneficial ILM inshaallah should place a genuine effort in attempting to achieve this goal. The lecture content will change every week inshaAllah. We may listen to an audio, or live dars, and tele-links where recording is not allowed. So learning to capture key points of a lecture are essential for future task, such as the lectures given by albaseerah.org or Live Salafi Publications, Masjid Rahmah, Back to the Basics, and even Live Salafi Duroos. 

• Please come prepared to take notes (notebook or miscrosoft word program)
• Making sure you title your paper with the Name of the Lecture, Credited to person giving the lecture, and the Date
• Please include any text associated with the lesson, whether it be referenced books, articles, or treatise.
• Make reference for Qur'aan and Ahaddith in the margins so you can go back later and fill in the appopriate information
• Make note of past and present scholars mentioned
• Make note of authentic text and treaties mentioned
• You can submit your notes or transcribed lectures for others to benefit/Please write your Kunya on it 
• Submit your summarized notes to thmsadaqagroup@gmail.com

For those of you who may miss the scheduled lecture, you may have another opportunity to listen to the lecture if it is a pre-recorded audio inshaAllah, any dars other than these you will have to rely upon the notes of your peers. Submission for your notes is under the same guidelines as previously stated any additional information will be posted.
